Hello.
I have an Intel i7 7700k , 16GB DDR4, nVidia GTX 1080.
Can you help me with the best settings for streaming on youtube, at 2560x1080 ?
Curently I am using NVEC with 6000 video bit rate, my stream looks nice, sharp (not as good at I want), but when I finish it, at least 1 day or 2 days it stays at 1080p on youtube with an extremly bad quality.
Here you can see the difference between an old stream and the recent one that wasnt processed yet at 1440p. How can I fix this ?

Old : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f83YQNe6TBE
From yesterday : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6NvSjsHhGM

Please help me. :(

Also if someone can, please tell me the best settings for recording too.

03:01:44.259: [x264 encoder: 'simple_h264_stream'] preset: veryfast
03:01:44.260: [x264 encoder: 'simple_h264_stream'] settings:
03:01:44.260: rate_control: CBR
03:01:44.260: bitrate: 4000
03:01:44.260: buffer size: 4000
03:01:44.260: crf: 0
03:01:44.260: fps_num: 60
03:01:44.260: fps_den: 1
03:01:44.260: width: 2560
03:01:44.260: height: 1080
03:01:44.260: keyint: 120

03:21:37.051: Output 'simple_stream': Total frames output: 71474
03:21:37.051: Output 'simple_stream': Total drawn frames: 71526 (71567 attempted)
03:21:37.051: Output 'simple_stream': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 41 (0.1%)
03:21:37.051: Video stopped, number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 37106/71537 (51.9%)

So 1) Your bitrate is far too low for 2560x1080p60. I'm not even sure what it should be, except that 1920x1080p60 needs close 6-10Mbps (for streaming), so 2560x1080 would need even more.

2) Your computer is skipping over 50% of the frames. You need to use SuperFast or UltraFast preset, and even that won't be enough, you'll need to downscale and think about streaming at 30fps instead of 60.

If I were you, I'd give up on streaming at 1080p and stick to 720p, especially because you're going Ultra-Wide. This will let you use a better preset like Very Fast instead of a crappy one like Ultra Fast.

Btw, your title says 1440p streaming but your logs show you at 2560x1080.

If instead of streaming you want to record now and upload later, you should try NVEnc encoding with a bitrate around 50Mbps (as a first guess).

You need more bitrate for 1440p 60fps, preferably between 9000-18000 Kbps as it says in this page.

Try setting live stream encoder to QuickSync, NVENC, or something. QuickSync requires intel integrated graphics enabled in BIOS/Motherboard settings, with intel graphics drivers installed in windows.

If you live stream and record at the same time, and don't need extra record quality, you can set record to use the same as live stream encoder, to reduce CPU / NVENC usage.

I want just top record now, so I can have the best quality without losing 20/30 fps in game. Can you help me with the best settings for recording 1440p60fps(or even 75fps(monitor refresh rate) or more if possible) ?
