Hello,
I know these sort of questions get posted many times every day but was hoping that somebody could help me with my specific setup. >.<

The problems I'm having (that I know / can see) are :
- FPS drops (during intensive fights) from 30 to 15 and below
- High bitrate (It's normally always around 3500~3700 even when I start previewing with a black screen but sometimes it jumps to 4000+)
- Encoding taking too long
I've already set the output to a low resolution and capped the frames to 30 but I'm wondering if I have to go even lower than that to ensure that my stream is constantly smooth and my bitrate is low enough for most people to enjoy (I've seen people talk about 2000~ kb/s but I've never had a stream below 3500 regardless of what I'm playing).
At the moment the only game I can play smoothly is Hearthstone but anything from LoL to ME3 to MMORPGs (like Phantasy Star Online 2 / Kingdom Under Fire 2) are too much and it seems even with these settings, OBS has a hard time.
So I'm wondering how much more do I have to lower the stream and if I do, how much more does my quality suffer? Wouldn't exactly want a smooth picasso painting but neither a still frame mona lisa xD.
