Best settings for my Lenovo ThinkPad T460

Hello I was wondering the best settings for my Lenovo ThinkPad T460 it has 8 GB of Ram an Intel Core i5 6300 and 256 SSD for some reason my streams and recordings lag but on my lower end mac that has windows installed it runs perfect my mac is a 4 GB Ram Intel Core i5 and Windows is partitioned with 46 GB of storage

Run the Auto-configuration Wizard (tools menu) and apply the settings it gives (which are the best and stable settings for your hardware)
Restart OBS
Test.

Anyway, 4Gb of RAM isn't enough.
