Hello all! I plan on streaming in the future Call of Duty Ghosts gameplay off my Xbox 360 using my Elgato Game Capture. What do you reccomend for settings?
Ethernet Internet Connection
Ping: 17ms Download: 28.71Mbps Upload: 5.91 Mbps
AMD Radeon HD 6450
AMD Athlon II X2 255
4gb Ram

Also having a problem where it freezes and says taking to long to encode. Any ideas to fix that?

It's probably because you're on two cores and encoding a particularly high resolution image. Also, the elgato's signal is being decoded by their filter, so that's also taking up system resources. I would recommend using more downscale and seeing if that helps at all.

I have a similar setup as you do and had the same issue with the skipping frames. Change your Output resolution to 1280x720, raise your max bitrate and buffer size to 2500 or even 3000, and check the Quicksync box which I beleive is in the advanced section. That fixed all of the problems I was having.

As I said, try using more downscale. As for specific best settings, I can't give you the definitive specific best settings, all I can really do is see what results you're getting, and recommend possible solutions.

You've provided me with the log and everything I already need, as I said, my attempt to help you is suggesting try using a bit more downscale to reduce the skipping frames, as seen here in the log:

17:16:34: Number of frames skipped due to encoder lag: 1294 (73.11%)

I realize that may not be the help you're wanting to hear, but that is my attempt to help.
