I experienced a glitch when recording Killer Instinct; one was the audio randomly switching off near the end and the other video is at 1920x1080 (my monitor screen) it completely shrunk the recording. Could you help me with this?

Maybe... post an OBS log file from a 5 minute or longer recording where you set it up according to the guide I linked above.

13:09:44: Using custom x264 settings: "crf=0"

You have to use a CRF greater than 0. If you're trying to do lossless, then maybe OBS Studio can do it, I think so but I'm not sure.

perfect frames, perhaps 1366x768 resolution at max.

I don't understand this comment. Your monitor resolution is 1920x1080, if you shrink that down to 1366x768 (or change size to anything that isn't 1920x1080), you won't have perfect frames no matter what you do.

That was an old comment, my bad. I should have mentioned my new monitor can handle 1920x1080. What's OBS Studio like?

OBS Studio is a re-write of OBS to make it better. It doesn't yet have every feature that OBS Classic has, but they're working on it. And it can already do some things OBS Classic cannot.

Hmm, I guess I'll leave the recording then until there's a patch or something then, if it's in beta.
