Question / Help Best Recording Settings For iMovie Editing

I recently got OBS and was attempting to get into recording and editing gameplay footage. However I've noticed that none of the content recorded with OBS works in any of my video editing software(iMovie, WMM, or Corel VisualStudio). I figure it's my settings so I wanted to see if anyone out there knows the best settings for recording so that it may be imported into iMovie. Preferably in 1280x720 resolution.

Edit: Sorry to not include. The issues that arise with default settings is that, once imported, all of these edit programs have audio but the video is frozen to the first frame.

Thanks for the quick reply and help.

I turned on "Use CFR" under Settings>Advanced>Video but alas, once recorded and imported, I get the same effect. Audio but video is frozen on first frame.

Anything under CFR need changing? It has x264CPUPreset set at VeryFast, and rest is unchecked.

Edit: Not sure if it has to do with the CFR setting or the length of the video being shorter than what I've worked with in the past, but it does seem to now work in WMM, but still not iMovie.
 
im having same problem i got obs and i want to use imovie to edit my videos but it doesnt let me i use vlc to watch my videos i dont no weather i need a new video watcher thing of to change stuff in my setting please get back to me in need help badly as i just started youtube and i need to upload videos soon as i havent uploaded in 6 day cause i havent been able to
