Question / Help Best OBS settings? and some other questions

Here's my computer stats, http://imgur.com/IFRcAsY I need to know what settings to use on my Macbook, I also need 720p or higher and I'm not planning to livestream, just record.
also where is the install location of OBS? I can't find the app/file...

Right click your short cut, then "open file location"
For me, it's in program files(x86) > OBS
I don't know for the other questions.
