Hello guys,
I am having trouble with the volume of my mic being too low.
I have Voicemeeter and OBS working great and I also installed some reafr VST plugins to get rid of the noise and also added some other filters.
However! I need to boost my mic about +9db. And I have that possibility in so many different filters or parts, that i am lost.
Here are some of the places I can put an audio gain:
* Voicemeeter Gain.
* Regular Gain filter in OBS.
* Regular Compressor.
* Reafr standalone
* Voxengo EQ
* etc.
All of them give different results.
I figured that Voicemeeter was the one, since its "closer to the source", but to be honest, it distorts everything so much that its unbearable. I either get high pitch noises or a digital sound.
The way im adding the filters is this:
1.- Noise Removal (reafr)
2.- Equalizer
3.- Compressor
So my question is:
Where to put the gain? Would it be better to have it on different instances? All the gain in just one?
And then.. In which step should I do this?
Thanks a lot!
