I record video played and source of audio is my laptop speaker. so output is recorded as audio for the screen record. i hear lot of echo and unclear audio for recording. may be laptop speaker issue too. but is there anyway i can change audio to better source for videos played online and record?

If you're hearing echo, you're either playing audio on speakers in the same room with your microphone (don't do that, use headphones) or you've set up OBS incorrectly in such a way that it is sending and receiving audio from the same device.
