Best 1080p 60fps recording settings?

I have an Elgato HD60 X, a PS5, as well as both a Windows laptop and a Mac laptop. After fiddling with some settings, I decided I should stick with 1080p 60fps recording for now. My questions are:

1. What are the best 1080p60 recording settings for OBS, both on Windows and MacOS?
2. Do I have to set my PS5's resolution to 1080p for this?

1. What do you plan on doing with the recordings?
2. The PS5 resolution does not need to be 1080p for your videos to be 1080p.
3. What were the results of the Auto-Configuration Wizard?

3. What were the results of the Auto-Configuration Wizard?
1. I upload them to my YouTube channel.
2. So the PS5 resolution can remain 2160p, right?
3. The results of the Auto-Configuration Wizard were: Hardware Encoder, 1920x1080, and 60FPS.

Ok, I'd recommend reading over https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/1722171?hl=en . If you have newish hardware, you can use HEVC or AV1 instead of MP4 which have better quality for the bitrate.
Yes, leave your base resolution at 2160p and set the output to 1080. Depending on your hardware, disk space and bandwidth/data caps, you may want to record in 1440p. Your viewers can still watch in 1080 and will get better quality with the VP9 codec.
