Beat Saber not connecting in OBS

I'm new to using OBS, but followed all of the setup instructions for the Quest 2. I can connect SuperHot through OBS and record game play fine. However, after starting Beat Saber, connection to Quest Game fails. I'm using Beat Saber 1.14 and the latest OBS and MRC. I'm still learning, but I cannot understand why the exact same setup works for SuperHot, but not Beat Saber. Any help appreciated.

I saw somewhere that there are configuration file setting for OBS or MRC that might need special settings to make Beat Saber record on OBS. Is this true? What are they?

I'm using OBS 26.1.1 and the latest MRC 5.1.1 to create and save the Quest MRC from the MRC calibration. The calibration process works fine and tracking is all good. Like I said SuperHot loads and runs to record just fine. Beat saber gives an error, something like "Make sure your IP address is OK and that you are using a compatible game." Beat saber is supposed to be compatible, but maybe they screwed up 1.14 and I need to go back to 1.13.

Well, downgrading to 1.13.2 on BS didn't do anything. Still get message "Please verify the Quest IP address, and if MRC-enabled game is running", when I hit " "Connect to MRC-enabled game running on Quest". I thought Beat Saber was an MRC enabled game. I guess I'm just hallucinating all those videos of people actually using it as an MRC-enabled game.

Uninstalled OBS and MRC. Reran MRC and chose to let MRC install OBS 24. Went through Capture and Calibrate process about 10 different times. Now I dont even get any game capture properties in the Quest MRC scene, so now I cant even capture SuperHot. Posted multiple OBS logs to your discord log bot, but no human seems to be on the earth any more to speak to.

I was able to get Super Hot working again, but in a strange combination of events. About the only reference I have seen to others having exact same issue is at https://www.reddit.com/r/OculusQues...s_will_not_detect_oculus_quest_no_properties/
I uninstalled everything, MRC and OBS. Then installed MRC 3.3 and OBS 24.0.3, as described in the link above. This still did not work, and still had NO properties in the connection tab window when double tapping on the MRC source. But then I did an update on OBS to V26, nothing else. Then, it starts showing the "Connect to MRC-enabled app" again. Progress. However, only Super Hot works again and still not Beat Saber. I just get a "Insure you have correct IP address and a MRC-enabled app running" which Beat Saber is supposed to be. I have tried V1.13 and V1.16 BS but same problem. I'm not sure how people are actually getting BS working for mixed reality recording with OBS, unless there is some UNIQUE combination of versions and settings. BTW, does anyone know what is meant by "Enable MRC in Beat Saber settings"? I have seen this mentioned a few places, but cannot figure out what that means and where those controls are located. Maybe that is the issue?????

I'm having the same issue you describe and haven't yet found a solution (other than use LIV instead of OBS). When running Beat Saber, go to Settings and select the MRC tab to turn this feature on. Even after I did this though OBS still won't connect to Beat Saber despite it working for Super Hot and Space Pirate Trainer.
