Question / Help Battlefield 4 OBS problem

Hey i have i7-3770k @ 3.5ghz
8 GB RAM and
GTX 770

When im streaming in 720p@60 fps
with 3200 bitrate
preset faster/fast

I have lags in game. Stream is smooth i think but game is really lagging.

When im streaming i have same amount of fps on lowest graphic settings and ultra. Average fps in game is about 30fps

Can someone help me with that?

bf4 takes a shitton of processing power and 720p60 on fast preset is quite huge, faster should be possible but still, go with default veryfast

Hey there.

Try this: In your OBS settings, tick the "Use custom X264 options" and type in "threads=9".

This will limit the X264 to use less threads, so less CPU and should bump your BF4 FPS.

I stream BF4 at 2500kbps, fast/medium preset, "threads=9" 1080p downscale to 720p30.

My specs are

4770k at 4.2Ghz
7970 at 1000,1500
16GB ram
