Question / Help Battlefield 4 Game Crash w/ Game Capture

Hi, I've tried scouring the forums to find a fix but I can't seem to find one that actually works.

Every time I try to capture Battlefield 4 the game instantly crashes to desktop with no errors. I'm assuming it's the anti cheat detection happening so I tried enabling anti-cheat in the game capture settings to no avail. OBS is in admin mode as well so that didn't help.

I've also tried capturing via window instead of with a hotkey and this didn't help at all either.

Anyone have a way to get it working with game capture? Obviously I could use window mode but I lose performance in window mode so it's not very optimal for me to do so.

Generally when the game crashes instantly like that, it's usually due to some sort of other graphics hook interfering. Common culprits include: Teamspeak 3 overlay, FRAPS, MSI Afterburner, EVGA Precision, and other such programs that try to hook in and add any sort of overlay to the game.

Thanks for the input!

I turned Raptr off and it seems to be the culprit. As soon as I turned it back on I got the crashing again. I have the in-game overlay turned off for Raptr but it doesn't seem to help. Is there any way to get these programs running together or should I contact Raptr for some kind of help about it?

It may even be the AMD Gaming Evolved (Raptr) hooking in even though I use NVIDIA?

To be honest, I would just not use Raptr. That thing's "point system" doesn't really give you anything. I used it for a good year or two and so did a couple of my friends. The most I got was "exclusive" Legend of Grimlock dlc, which I never played the base game nor did I have it. It basically wanted me to buy the game so it could give me items I would already get in game. Raptr is useless. If you don't wish to uninstall, try logging off of it when playing bf4. When you crash, does it give you any message on battlelog?

I'm having a similar problem, but I can capture(Edit: stream) BF4 in the test range.
And I can't find any overlays active(Fraps, steam and origin overlays are all disabled).
As soon as I capture a multiplayer match, the game crash.

I tried waiting until the game was loaded and ready to spawn in, I then started the stream(By hotkey F12), and instant crash. Also tried gaming a bit before starting the stream.

Then I tried starting the stream before the game, and when I got to the spawn screen, I got another crash.

The battlelog once wrote, that there was a problem with port 3659, but the port is open, and punkbuster is reinstalled and updated.
Also, I can play on any server until I try enabling the stream.
