I'm frustrated. I've tried every single combo I can think of and the most I get is a tinny audio. My frustration stems from the sheer number of variables across my set up; covering Windows 10 (Sound Settings, Sound Control Panel, Build in Microphone), OBS, iRig Stream, Pioneer DDJSZ
This is probably nothing compared to the pros on here! I'm hoping its something simple.
I've stripped OBS back to the basics. Audio first. Cameras are easy to add. I've done it before, but setting up again on a new laptop (brand new Dell XPS 17, top spec)
Attached a bunch of photos in a PDF of the OBS alongside various settings. PROBLEM: I can see the audio on OBS (green bar) and hear it on my twitch account when I stream but its tinny and distant as hell. I get audio on OBS and Twitch only when the 'properties for iRig' on OBS are set to Line In (iRig Stream). This indicates the problem is the whole Windows side of things. I guess I'm confused as to Inputs / Outputs / Mics. What is input to one 'thing' is an output to another etc etc.
I'm not particularly technical and once it worked before I NEVER touched the settings. Now with the new laptop I'm back to square 1. I need a very basic tutorial here. Step by step.
If anyone could help -I'd be forever grateful
