I am very new to this. I have everything down good to go, but the base resolution that is default ain't working. And it's telling me that it needs to add up to 16:9 ?? When it's in default, I am missing a fat chunk (Mostly the right side) of my monitor. And btw, I just want to use what's on my monitor screen. But the base resolution numbers are not what I can find to use that are correct without having it too little or too much. It's always missing stuff for the numbers I choose. I NEED HELP!!!!

I'm a user just like you so I can only tell you the little that I know (or think I do lol). Go to Video and make sure you have Monitor set to whichever monitor you are using. If that doesn't work then try selecting Custom and changing it to your monitor resolution. If it's 1280x720 then of course 1280 in the first box 720 in the second and it should automatically be 16:9 unless your monitor resolution isn't set to a 16:9 standard. If not then right-click on your desktop and click screen resolution. Change it to a 16:9 resolution like 1920x1080, 1366x768, or 1280x 720. If that works make sure when you add your monitor in OBS that you click it, then press edit scene, and then press ctrl+F to fit it to the screen, then click edit scene again to turn off edit scene.

If it didn't help then I hope a dev can help you out. Good luck!
