Question / Help Base canvas setting

Hello, i am so confuse with base canvas setting. Example, my screen resolution is 1920x1200, my recording source is 1920x1080, so what resolution i have to set in base canvas setting. And output canvas should be 1920x1080 or 1280x720, i just want output 720p.

If your recording source is 1920x1080 and your output should be 1920x1080, then of course use a canvas size of 1920x1080. This fits an output size of 1280x720 as well.
