Question / Help Base (Canvas) and Output (Scaled) options are all 16:10. Is there a way to select 16:9?

This may seem like a silly question, but I've looked all over and there doesn't seem to be any pointers on this subject.

I want to stream console games through my Elgato HD, and these consoles are captured in 16:9. The monitors I have for my computer are 16:10, so the only Canvas options I have are in 16:10, leading to the only scaled options I have being 16:10 as well.

Is there any way to force OBS into giving me 16:9 options for either scaled or canvas? I want to avoid black bars at the bottom and top of my stream.

I feel like I'm missing something.

Thanks!

I think this is what I'm missing.

The only options for scaled that I see are in a drop down menu. I'll have to search how to manually set a resolution. I usually use xSplit, but I've made the jump and today was literally my first day ever touching OBS.

Do you happen to know where I access the manual resolution settings?

Settings - video. You can manually type in a resolution instead of choosing from the drop-down.

Adjust the base resolution, not scaled if you're trying to switch from 16:10 to 16:9

My god, I had no idea I could simply type. I can't believe I missed that.

Thank you so much, man. I appreciate the help!
