Hello, thanks for taking the time to read. I have tried streaming recently and cannot find settings to work with my setup.
I want to stream League of Legends for now, but really any online game. I've been streaming for a while but with low quality. Recently I've gotten more stable internet and a better GPU, but my stream is still low quality.
PC Specs: Windows 7 64bit
I5-3570k @ 4.2Ghz (30c idle, 55c load while streaming and gaming)
Asus P8Z77-M Motherboard (all updated on firmware)
8GB(2x4 dual channel) 1866 Vengence Cas 9 RAM (in XMP)
Asus GTX650TIB-DC2OC-2GD5 (331.65 drivers) (31c idle, 55c load while streaming and gaming)
Internet: Mediacom 8MB Download, 2MB Upload
CPU usage while gaming and streaming:
Up to 40% with 4GB memory usage
GPU Usage:
Up to 50% with 31% memory load
Using OBS v0.583b with these settings:
Encoding:
CBR and CBR padding (twitch recommends using CBR)
1100 Bitrate (same buffer)
48k AAC audio 64bit rate
Video:
Video adapter 650ti-B
Resolution 1600x900 no downscale
FPS: 30 (would like this to be higher for smoother stream but IDK)
Advanced:
Use multi-thread
Process priority: high
Screen buffering 400ms (default?)
x264 CPU: faster
x264 profile: high
Keyframe = 0 (auto, default?)
CFR
If I am missing anything let me know and thanks again for looking at this. I know I might need the bit rate lower so that my game doesn't have 400 ping and lag so can I get a few suggestions on a high setting (for when I'm gaming offline) and an online setting (for when I can only use about 800bitrate).
