Question / Help Bad quality of microphone recording on OBS

Hi, so my problem is that my voice when recording from OBS sound like a robot but it's only on OBS, but if i hear myself from Mumble (TS3 equivalent) it's sounds nice.
My sound card is from my motherboard (Z77A-G43) and i have the last realtek audio driver.
Any idea how to make my voice sounds OK from OBS?

I am having this problem too. You can see an example from my last broadcast http://www.twitch.tv/pandacraze/c/2469513. It sounds fine on Skype when I do the test just OBS is where is starts to sound bad. Thoughts?

Update obs and try the force "mic to mono" option from audio settings.

OBS is fully updated and changed the mic to mono setting. Here is a video I did last night. Jump to about the middle is when my friends and I start chatting on Skype and you'll hear its still a bit off. http://www.twitch.tv/pandacraze/b/422387746

I can confirm this issue. I use a $200 external sound card and a $300 microphone. Sounds amazing over Skype as well as any other programs I use this stuff for and when I stream it sounds horrible, even though it sounds fine via Skype. Had other friends mention this to me as well. It doesn't matter if its forced to mono or not, I'm streaming 2,200kbps fine with no drops, all my settings are where they should be, I've maxed out AAC and .mp3 and it still sounds like crap. Not sure what's going on here, this is an issue that should be addressed. I've seen a lot of other people post about this and it's a big part of streaming, yeah!?

can't open the link, but OBS do "AGC / Auto Gain Control / Auto Volume Control" on my $600 mic & $300 audio interface, sounds terrible. It keeps me away from OBS for a long time, I'm waiting for updates to remove that terrible AGC.
