Question / Help AverMedia + Webcam conflict [fixed by switching USB port]

Hi guys

Im having an issue running both my Capture card and webcam at the same time.
I can run one or the other under "Video capture device". If I use the capture card then use "software capture" for the webcam the camera part box is black in my preview.

Capture Card = AVerMedia Live Gamer HD
Webcam = Logitech C910

You can't set both of them as Video Capture Device?

is that the c985? I had pretty much the exact same setup, c985, and a logitech c920 (almost identical model plus one feature), and I've never had any problems. Could you check to see if putting the C920 in another USB port affects it at all?

Correct, its the C985.

Putting it in another USB slot fixed it. Just wish I could select a sub-region on the webcam.

Yea, USB can be really weird on some motherboards sometimes. Thanks for the update.
