Hello friends :)

So I have just installed my 710 u3 Extreme Cap from Avermedia and hooked it to my streaming computer and now I am looking for a way to capture and transfer all sounds on and from my gaming computer.

I used a avermedia pci-e gaming hd before and used hdmi to send all the audio. The thing is that I got help from a friend setting it up so I am a littlebit lost since I'm really not good with sound setup.

This is what I want. Capture Windows sound, ingame and my microphone.

Anyone have suggestions. If there is no way to work the software I'm ready to buy a mixer if necessary and in that case could someone recommend one.

I've seen and heard that a behringer is something people use and if I don't get any help here I will check it out further more.

Cheers bros

Or if you wanna go ghetto just run a 3.5mm cable from your game pc audio out to your stream pc audio in, then in windows sound option on your input select "listen to device on:" and choose your streaming desktop audio device. there will be a static mess of noise, but it works. at the least you could go with the hum eliminator, 2 adapters, and 2 3.5 to rca cables

the ghetto way works as follows:
1. "Listen to" - microphone on gaming pc, output to soundcard, you'll hear yourself talking.
2. Run "3.5 to RCA" cable from gaming pc to hum eliminator with 2 adapters for the eliminator
3. Run another "3.5 to RCA" cable with 2 more adapters from the elminator's output to the line in on the streaming pc
4. "Listen to" - Line in on streaming pc, output to streaming pc sound card or virtual audio cable
5. In obs disable mic, choose sound card or virtual audio cable as desktop device - everything from your gaming pc will now be output to your stream

only issue with this is if you have a sound for notifications on your streaming pc you wont hear them on the gaming pc, better off getting a mixer for that

I kind of have the same setup. I use HDMI for the pc audio(as you did before) and then I just plug the streaming MIC into the streaming pc and use a mod mic on my gaming PC for game communication.

any 2 channel usb mixer will do. if i upgraded it would be the behringer xenyx q1202 usb, but its not really necessary. only difference is 4 channels instead of 2. the more important part is making sure you dont have any ground noise, I actually have two of those ground noise filters running seperate devices into my mixer

Brother. I got myself a xenyx 502 however I need to order in my hum eliminators if there is no workaround.

I want to know how you set up your microphones and which ones you use and which inputs you use.

I get the sound from my gaming-PC with a splitted 6.3 mm kabel to a 3.5 mm.
I use the USB cable from the mixer to the streamingpc.

So I get all the sound needed execept the microphone.

I can use my headset in my gaming computer or my standalone zoom h4n(usb) as a microphone to communicate with, however the communication goes to skype, ingame communication and so forth.

The problem is talking with the viewers.

In OBS you can choose extra input however if you mix the mixerboard and the mic output in your soundcard it won't work since I think the power in the signal differs so much. If I use it my mic input on the computer it is ultra high in soundinput and the mixer is ultra low and you cant do nothing.

So the question really is. What can I do to get connected with my viewers?

Should I get a XLR microphone? Or is it possible to get a xlr headset or a headset with 6.3 mm strong and with quality enough not giving out distortion?

Since I've tried using the 6.3mm output linein with my zoom h4n with a 3.5-6.3 mm adapter and it the distortion fugly sounds is to great.

That is why maybe you use HUM-eliminators?
