Question / Help AVerMedia - Local capture and stream simultaneously?

I was wondering with any of the hardware based encoders from AVerMedia (e.g. the LGP) if it's possible to locally capture in REcentral while also live streaming with OBS (without having to window capture REcentral)?

Like I think this is the whole point of "Stream Engine" when it says "Simultaneously record the LGP video source while streaming" but I'm just making 100% sure that you would be able to say locally capture at 60Mbps 720p video while outputting a 360p/480p stream to OBS.

The reason I ask is mainly for speedruns. I want to have a local high quality file for YouTube etc as my internet isn't that great but also allow my viewers to watch it live if they wanted.

a simple answer is not fully featured. yes you can do it, but I believe if you capture the REcentral window, it doesn't capture the audio or it cam come out messed up and/or sometimes getting a black capture screen doing this.

OBS always recommends you do video source capture and leave REcentral closed.

OBS MP (aka studios) will be able to do this (they are already testing it in beta to have dual output streams). as of now, I think you would have to have two separate OBS windows up and running, one doing local, the other doing streaming.
