Question / Help Avermedia Live Gamer /w Sony A7iii can only used in one Scene

Hi There,

I recently purchased the Avermedia Live Gamer to use with my Sony A7iii on OBS.

It works fine actually, just that I want to use the capture device on multiple scenes, but i can only add the capture device on 1 scene, and when i try to add it to another scene it doesn't work.

Is there work around?

Please advise.

It's normal.
You must add not as new device, just used, or even copy from another scene.

Concur. Do not 'add new', use 'add existing' and select the already-created video capture device source in the new scene.

Video capture devices like capture cards and webcams generally can only be used by one program at a time. Each Video Capture Device Source counts as a separate 'program'. Add Existing will re-use the existing one, and still only count as one. Creating a new one will count as a second, and fail.

I did it by duplicating the Scene :)
