Question / Help Avermedia Live Gamer Portable Sound Stuttering (Wii U)

Hey,

I am really happy about obs-studio but I still encounter some problems.

I wanted to stream some Super Mario Maker but the sound is terrible stuttering. I am using an Avermedia Live Gamer Portable (AVerMedia C875 Capture).

If I stream my Nintendo 64 (AV2HDMI --> Avermedia) the sound works perfect.

I already tried to play a little bit around with the options and I recognized in the extended audiosettings I have to check track 1 and track 2 or 3 or 4 so I can hear something.

Here is my last Log: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/5c2d3b135aadcf89e046

If I select in Audio-Output-Mode anything beside "Record Audio Only" (like DirectSound / WaveOut) I will end up with no audio.

In "Open Broadcaster Software" everything works fine, There I have LGP Stream Engine selected, which I don't have in obs-studio.

I hope you can help me.

Thankfully

I'm actually having the exact same problem, and no one seems to know the answer. This is a problem that I keep seeing people have on both the Elgato and AverMedia cards (I've had the issue on both, since we use both).

So for me, the problem is that when we're actually capturing from a console, the audio comes in really, really choppy. If it comes in from anything else, though it's fine as far as I know. We use both an Elgato and AverMedia to stream since we use a high-end camera, and the camera's audio comes in fine. However the game's audio stutters like a mug.

According to this: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/audio-stuttering.33127/, you might have some success if you install iTunes. I haven't, but you might.

Here's my log file, btw.

Need to Run AverMedia Stream Engine along side OBS, and turn off any graphics card programs like percision x or Afterburner

Has this been been attempted to be fixed already?
Because I was helping a buddy of mine with OBS Studio and he has this Avermedia Live Gamer Portable and is having the exact same issue and everything I tried no matter what his game capture audio (Wii U) was always getting cut off/stutter

Also, you must select the LGP Stream Engine as the video capture source with the 32-bit version of OBS. 64-bit will not work from what I can tell.
