Bug Report Avermedia Live Gamer HD

My live gamer HD is giving me a black screen when I try to use it with OBS. The pass-through function from my gfx card, to the capture card, to my monitor works fine. I tried to use the RECentral software to see if that would work but it is telling me that the live gamer hd is already in use by other software. I uninstalled and turned off anything that might be using the card like skype, xsplit, etc. but still no dice. Even after uninstalling the drivers for the live gamer hd, shutting down, and reinstalling everything, I still have the same problem. It is strange to me because sometimes the card will work with no problem but most of the time it does not. I searched the xsplit forums for the problem but saw no solution to my problem and I am quite frankly, stumped.

So you've tried reinstalling everything and it still isn't working? Weird...are you sure you uninstalled it correctly before reinstalling?

I mean, I guess you could try re-seating it, or putting it into a different PCI slot or something.

I don't know what the issue is here -- usually when you get those particular sort of errors, it means that the device is in use by another application or there's something wrong with the hardware. I know the C985 works because I have one myself, so I don't know what's going on for you in your specific case
