Question / Help Avermedia Live Gamer HD Urgent Help Needed

Need Help with Liver Gamer HD c985: At first the card was working fine, but when i went to update the firmware, all of a sudden my pc blue screened. After recovering from that, my pc no longer will recognize the card. I have installed the drivers many many times, and have changed pci slots, but still the card will not work. Im at a loss, no amount of googleing has helped me. I just got the card today, and i was completely blown away, but now i am in desperate need of help.

I have done everything i could possibly think of, and the customer support and facebook page have proved to be completely useless. You guys are my last hope. Please help me.

What did the customer service tell you, then? I mean the firmware update failing, or rather the resulting corruption, is of course what causes the device to, as it says on the screenshot, not start.
If you are unable to run the firmware update utility successfully, there isn't much to be done with the device but return it.

this is a common problem.
right click that avermedia live gamer hd series, select uninstall, reboot.
if that didnt do the trick, load up in safe mode and remove it. if you see more than one instance of it in safe mode remove all of the ones you see, reboot and you should be good now.

I will try this, but at this very moment, i am loading it on my server computer to make sure its not bricked before i waste my time and possibly get even more frustrated, but if its not bricked, i will deffiently do that :D Thanks for helping me :)

Im still having the problem, Would you be willing to do skype and team viewer? i dont know what is wrong, is it possible the failed firmware update bricked my capture card?

i'd first ask that you vet me asking people if i'm trustworthy, as you should do with anyone online.
i've setup streams for some people you may know on twitch like avajaiji, mishii86, and most of the people i follow on twitch and my twitter @jollyrifficinca

I doubt its bricked, the two times it happened to me i thought the same thing the third time was just another day at the office lol.

I called avermedia and they told me that if its bricked, i have to rma it, which im preparing an email for if i have to, but if you will teamview, that would be cool, ill tweet you the info

man it is almost the same problem i had with this guy except i didnt blue screened and i had it where obs got it to show up with LGHD stream engine but now that i use it. it shows red screen and nothing else. got any clue on this one? it also crashes when i use recentral and click on amateur. it stops working and shuts off.
