Question / Help AVerMedia Live Gamer HD No Audio In OBS With Snes Mini Classic

I can't seem to get any audio from my Snes Mini Classic in OBS (updated to the most recent as of this post) but if I plug in directly into my TV I get the audio

The current setup is Snes > Kinivo HDMI Splitter > AVerMedia > BenQ

I've turned on my PS4 whilst the Snes is on and I get sound when I switch to the PS4 then go back to the Snes and still nothing, I've been looking through all the settings in OBS and can't seem to find anything

What version of the snes are you using? I am from the UK so I'm using the European console, had a thought that maybe the different versions may work a little differently, plus on your avermedia properties in OBS have you had to lower the resolution to get any picture mine is set to 640x368 (the resolution to that I can remember off the top of my head). If I have it set to full HD it tell me that it is out of range, so I wasn't sure if maybe there is an audio setting somewhere that may set it within the range it can pick up

Sorted!

I tried just plugging straight into the avermedia and it worked, mustn't like the hdmi splitter in the end, sound and everything!! I had to set the resolution to 1280x720 otherwise the video might not show or goes bad quality

Hope this works for you too

Did you use avermedia + a splitter ?
so the solution is not use a Splitter for the hdmi?.
Well i havent a splitter so :/
still no sound

I have the same issue.
I have no splitter or something like that. I have the newest drivers and newest firmware and i don't have sound when i plug my snes mini classic into the avermedia. Did you found a solution for that yet ?
