Question / Help Avermedia LIVE Gamer HD, Low Quality Stream?

Hello,
I was wondering if someone can help me out. I am having issues with the quality of my stream.

PC Specs: i5-3570K @ 3.4GHz
Radeon HD 7970 OC 3GB
ASUS P8Z77-V LK
CORSAIR TX650
GeIL EVO Veloce Series 8GB 1600
AVerMedia C985 Live Gamer HD

I captured footage using Call of Duty's theater mode(Xbox 360). I have ran test using both Xsplit and OBS. Here are my results:

As you can see from these test, changing values within the programs don’t seem to improve the quality. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

The VODs recorded from OBS have the following settings up from down:
1) 1700 vbv-maxrate, 1700 vbv-bufsize
veryfast

2) 3100 vbv-maxrate, 3100 vbv-bufsize
veryfast

3) 3100 vbv-maxrate, 3100 vbv-bufsize
fast

4) 1500 vbv-maxrate, 2000 vbv-bufsize
veryfast

They all have a quality setting of 6, none of them have 8.

The difference between 1 and 4 should be minimal, and the difference between those two and test 2 should be the biggest. I've reviewed those videos, and the difference is quite noticeable. Freezeframe it at 0:29 to see a clear difference. Look at the UI, the grass, the ground and the walls. Heck, look at everything that has details! Your stated settings, however, do not match those of the videos, so please revise your uploads.
