Question / Help Avermedia Live Gamer Extreme GC550 no sound

Hi,

Recently after updating obs it seems it broke sound for the GC550 capture device. I cannot seem to get it working in multi platform but it works fine on the recent standalone OBS. The sound also works on the aver media application rec center. I tried reinstalling obs and the aver media driver but still doesn't seem to want to work on mulitpatorm obs.

Any idea? Thanks.

Did you ever find a solution to this akskiller? I'm seeing the same issue as you -- audio works fine in RECentral and Xsplit, but not in OBS Multiplatform (or OBS classic).

When adding the capture as a source, make sure you're selecting the capture card in the "Audio Device" at the bottom.

@Fonic_Artes When I select the "use custom audio device" only my mic shows up

[EDIT] Alright so I rolled back to the August driver and everything works instantly (no need to output desktop audio etc.)
