Hi,

I just recently got this new capture device the GC550. I have a 2 PC streaming setup and am having some audio delay using this device in OBS multiplatform. There is no delay on the regular OBS it works fine. This problem just happened randomly because it was working on multiplatform just yesterday this problem just started today. I checked my settings tried uninstalling it and there is still a delay on multiplatform only. I am getting my Audio from my gaming PC via HDMI and using stereo mix on my gaming PC.

It works fine on regular OBS but I would like to know what happened and why there is a delay just on the multiplatform version. Thanks!

Just an update. I changed the sync offset to -600, yes negative, for the avermedia device and now its synced.

Is this normal to set the sync offset to negative? thanks

Yes, it's normal. We have buffering for the audio specifically to allow negative sync offsets.

I have the same capture card. Did you go under the capture card's settings where it says "Audio Sync offset", to change this to -600?

Just bumping this thread to say I had the same issue, although I only have to add -300 to get it to sync up. Any idea why this delay is different for different people?
Also, for some reason my blue yeti mic seems to be excluded from this automatic buffering since it's synced perfectly without any adjustment.
