Question / Help Avermedia live gamer capture card does it work on pci-e 2.0 slot?

As my title says would the capture card work on a pcie 2.0 slot?? Unfortunately i think my mobo only has 1 pci-e 3.0 16x slot and thats being used by my graphics card... Any ideas? Thanks

So what do u recommend? Use my graphics card in the pcie 3.0 slot and use avermedia card in the other? Btw my motherboard is msi z77a-g43, thanks again
