Hello I typically am able to solve stuff like this on my own with a little research but I am stuck. I have used an AVerMedia Game Broadcaster HD ( an internal PCI-e capture card ) for years now to beautiful results but it's only a 720p60 /1080p30 card. I recently purchased an AVerMedia LGX since it's a USB 3.0 1080p60 capture card and I have barely gotten it to work within OBS.
It works fine for a few days but I am guaranteed a blue screen crash upon preview / stream / record. Once this happens and I restart my PC my entire OBS data is gone as if I have never set it up before. Because of this I don't have a crash dump or log to share with you, even when my PC blue screen it glitches and doesn't display anything but Blue screen with white pixelation.
OBS is the newest release available and my LGX is up to date as well. I'm not sure if it's a RAM leak somewhere in the software of the card and the issue only happens in OBS. When I open it up in it's own native software I'm presented with no issues at all.
I am hoping that someone here could possibly point me in the right direction if possible so I can finally resolve this issue. Maybe it's as simple as running 64 bit OBS instead of 32 bit but I'm not that adept to take a stab at that.
