Hello guys! I really want to start streaming but i can't! :(

I have tried so many things now to get the audio from my gaming pc to my streaming pc(laptop) but nothing seems to work...
Ive been doing this for atleast 30-40hrs now and i am really desperate. I also have an USB headset.

My setup:

Dual pc stream with avermedia lgp lite in the middle.
HDMI out from gaming pc to HDMI in on lgp.
USB soundcard 3.5mm audio out from my gaming pc to my lgp audio in and lgp connected to my laptop by usb.

I have tried so many different settings and also "listen to this device" on both laptop and gaming pc and still nothing.

Everything else works, video works fine, mic works fine and so on.

Log file: https://gist.github.com/031a6b1f07c6495f20ed

ANY help would be much appreciated!

Im pretty sure thats not how the LGP works you either use only the HDMI in/out or only the Aux in/out. You cannot mix and match for the audio, maybe I'm not fully understanding your problem.

Im pretty sure you can: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqqU95c46pA

And no i think you don't. HDMI is for the video, i could use HDMI for audio too but it does not work eather and others say that if you have audio from HDMI then the audio kind of sucks so its better to have audio through aux.

Like i wrote above, my problem is that i cannot get my gaming audio from my gaming pc to my streaming pc.

I see now. It's because you have a USB headset then. All desktop sound is going through there and not to the Aux cable which is connected to the LGP.

You could use virtual cables to send your desktop audio to both of them simultaneously or maybe a mixer that accepts usb input devices although I don't know much about that.

For Virtual Cables you can download Voicemeeter. http://vb-audio.pagesperso-orange.fr/Voicemeeter/index.htm

In windows sound properties you would select "VB-Audio Voicemeeter Viao" as your default playback device which will send all your desktop sound to Voicemeeter.

Then where is says A1 and A2 you can select your USB Headset and the Aux output. Make sure the A circle is also highlighted to make sure sound is sent them them both. You could plug in your Mic here too if you wanted and select it under the Hardware input.

I hope that helps.

I'm not sure if there is another way without a physical mixer.

Thanks man! You are my true saviour!!!! Finally got the gaming sound to work on stream, but ofcourse there now is another problem...
To use my mic in stream i need to listen to myself all the time while talking which kind of sucks hard :P Do you know how to fix it like this so i dont hear myself from my headphones? Is there a way?

Thanks!

Right, I didn't even think about that.

Replace Voicemeeter with Voicemeeter Banana. It's basically the advanced version. http://vb-audio.pagesperso-orange.fr/Voicemeeter/banana.htm

This time when you select your output devices as A1 and A2, you can choose to send your Mic to only A2 (your Aux for example)(Thats how I would do it A1 = Headset and A2 = Aux Output).

There is also a pretty neat Noise Gate which I would also recommend and very basic EQ.

In the settings, you can also set it so your Keyboard volume key changes the Volume to A1 (Headset). I don't remember if the regular Voicemeeter has that setting. But if you only change your volume with buttons on your headset then that's not such a big deal.

But hey! Again, like always, there is another problem. The game sound is with delay, it has little delay on me ingame and in stream it has like 1second delay which is very bad... Is there any way to fix this or do i need to buy the audio thingy that costs like 60-80 dollars? if you know what i mean

Just kidding wow i have like 2-3 second delay :O Wow is there a way to fix this if you know? :(

Okay anyways. I looked up my stream from yesterday and everything was fine! Sound came through nice and so on!! But today when i streamed sound had so long delay time... Can it be encoding? Today i had it on 3000 yesterday i had it on 1500, picture was bad but audio came through nicely... Damn i should start saving my options and start saving different settings :P

Well if the stream was fine yesterday I suggest you get it back to what it was :P. I'm not as clued up as you think so I'm not sure what you would need to change.

Post a log though.

There is no delay on sound at all when i listen to the sound i get from my gaming pc from my laptop speakers, everything works fine but when i click the "Start Streaming" or "Preview Stream" button it starts to lag, music, game sound and so on...

EDIT: Lol fixed it by setting audio stream input to stream only and restarting my both pc-s for the 20th time :D trolololo

Do you need your mic for skype etc on your gaming pc? If not you could just connect it to your streaming one. Or is it the mic on your headset you use?

I am having the same issue, however I am having an error while trying to download the voicemeeter programs. Is there any other fix for this. I too have a USB headset with a mic I use for in game. I have a HDMI and 3.5mm jack running video and audio to the Avermedia LGP and the the usb and hdmi running from the LGP to my laptop to run the stream. I have my gaming computers standard audio set up so that my headset is the default and then when I go to recording devices and to mixer I select the aux jack as the second device to listen and it doesn't work. If anyone has an answer to this they can email me at 7riggernometry@gmail.com thanks
