Hello all
I run a 2 PC setup. I use an AverMedia LGP on my laptop to stream my PC setup. I'm absolutely thrilled with the quality I can get onto Twitch. However, using the LGP does have it's flaws. I'm aware of the limitations of USB 2.0 devices and OBS so I'm just posting this question so other people with the same issue can get a definitive answer.
Is there a workaround or fix to the LGP video and audio going out of sync over time in OBS?
Before you answer I am already aware of the 're-tick' solution whereby you just untick and then re-tick the source. This does work most of the time, however in games where a single round can last beyond 20 mins, it's not always practical.
I just want to know know if there is an actual fix. I've heard rumours of using 'use buffering' in the source properties as a solution, but am unaware of what should be entered in the field (I have just left it at 0).
By no means am I complaining, I just want to know if Jim is aware of the problem and if it's a stream engine error or one in OBS. Because let me tell you, the OBS Dev team are much more likely to work on a fix lol
Thanks for any replies.
