Hello, I recently got my Avermedia LiveGamer HD and I am currently using it in a single PC setup.
Now the problem is, with the HDMI passthrough, I am limited to only 60Hz and I want to get the 144Hz that the VG248QE is capable of(reason why I bought it).
I am thinking of getting a DVI-D Dual Link splitter to solve this problem but will this really solve the problem?
I tried duplicating the DVI-D Dual Link to VG248QE and another HDMI cable running right into the capture card but again, refresh rate was limited to only 60(I guess the GPU detects the lowest and that's what it gives out).
Coming back to the splitter, will it be effective? I hear some people having problem with splitters like only one display is working or none are working, conflicts, Green stripes all over the alternate screen while other screen is off...bla bla bla!
I just want to have my VG248QE working at 144Hz and the other cable going to my LGHD(with the DVI to HDMI converter of course!)
I have been looking up for the splitters and the StarTech DVISPL1DD Black 1 ft. DVI-D to 2 x DVI-D Digital Video splitter cable is what I might go for.
Thanks all in advance,
Blaze
