I want to buy a quality cap card that can record well. I am sure this cap card is very good and it is an external cap card that you don't have to put in your pc. I was wondering if it is compatible with obs and I can use it as a game capture device on obs. I know it is meant to be used without a pc, but I need to know if I can use it with OBS before I purchase it

The Avermedia Game Capture HD II is not a normal capture card. You record directly to the device and then transfer the recorded video afterward. It is not intended for livestreaming or recording over Directshow, so it can't be used with OBS or any other livestreaming program.
