Question / Help Avermedia Game Broadcaster HD/PS4 Help

Ok, so I got my Game Broadcaster in the mail today, plugged it in, am running an HDMI cable from my PS4 directly to the Game Broadcaster HDMI port until I go get my splitter, did the install and downloaded recentral, and did the basic option for capturing (the newbie mode) for my PS4. I had to disable HDCP of course, and everything seems to be working, I'm able to see the capture of my PS4 in the ReCentral screen.

However, there are like 7 faint vertical lines that run the entire height of the screen, flickering and they stretch the length of the screen. Why is that? Seems to be like there's not a good connection between the output of the PS4 and the input into the Game Broadcaster, but I know for a fact that there is no problem with the HDMI cable, its the same cable that I use for playing on my regular tv with no problems.

Also, there is a loud, constant crackling sound that is coming from the output of the PS4, I can faintly hear the system music underneath the static. What could be causing this? Is it just a setting I need to change? Again, I know my HDMI cable is fine. Should I be running a seperate cable for audio? If so, I don't think it came with the product, and I thought audio was supposed to be transmitted through HDMI as well as video?

Hopefully there is just a setting I need to change and it's not a faulty card or something, I really wanted to 24 stream Destiny on Tuesday. Also, since I know I'll be having more questions, does anyone know of a guide for Game Broadcaster, with PS4, using OBS? I can't seem to find anything, they are all either PS3, XBox, or XSplit. What's my next step once I fix this? :/ Any help would really be appreciated, thank you guys.

also, after downloading the latest driver, I cannot open ReCentral at all. Clicking on it pinned to my taskbar will show the box around the icon like it's opening, and then it will just disappear. This is so confusing to me.

Strange, not entirely sure. I've never used a splitter. Do you have another console or HDMI output to test with so you can see if it's the splitter or not?

I don't have the splitter yet, literally all I have is my PS4, connected by HDMI to the Game Broadcaster. I have a video of what I'm experiencing, how can I communicate that to you? I don't think I can upload an MP4

EDIT: unistalled ReCentral and just started over, still having the same problem. Again, PS4 is fine, HDMI cable is fine. has to either be a setting that's incorrect or a bad product, right?

Hm, when REcentral was working, was the problem happening there? Sounds really weird, couldn't tell you what's going on honestly, I'm not sure how much help I can be. I haven't use the game broadcaster HD yet myself either.

The sound crackling would occur as soon as I started capturing ps4 audio and video, and the frequency seemed to match the vertical red lines shaking too. So yeah, I guess it has to be a bad card. Worth a shot, I'll be returning the card and getting either a replacement or something else, but I'm not keen on getting this same model if I'm having these issues. Do you know of any other good options as far as actual cards go? I don't want to get a USB option but I might do an elgato, just because there is so much support available

There's always the C985 I suppose. But always opt for PCI-E over USB devices if you're on a desktop. Always.
