Question / Help AVerMedia Game Broadcaster HD C127 Recording Lag

Yo guys.
I used to use a Live Gamer HD C985, but it died when I tried upgrading firmware (woo..)
Since I usually just duplicated my third monitor output to mimic my main monitor, I thought it would be easier to buy this card instead and just let my PC do the encoding.

The issue here is I experience incredible screen tearing and choppiness in the recording. My game runs fine, no lag at all. But the recording is EXTREMELY choppy.

The setup is my GTX680 is outputting 3 cables. One to my main monitor, one to my second monitor and one to the C127. The C127 is a duplicate of my main monitor. It is running in 1920x1080, which I understand is capped to record at 30fps. The issue here is I would be lucky if it even gets 15fps after all the screen tearing.

Funnily enough doing a local recording in their AVerMedia Center works perfectly fine. I get the full 30fps with no lag whatsoever, but when I try to record in OBS or XSplit I just get new levels of lag in the recording.

I've tried changing the region to NTSC but it didn't seem to make a difference. I tried changing my main monitor's resolution (and therefore the input to the capture card) to 1280x720 so I could access the 60fps option when configuring the card. This did not help.

Any recommendations guys? All help appreciated.

EDIT: This happens whether I use HDMI or DVI->VGA. It doesn't make a difference.

...I am never updating my firmware for me C985.

Could I see a log file, and/or a recording?

Yeah I was pretty devastated :(
Here is a link to the video: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/855 ... 27test.mp4
I recorded it in 60fps on purpose so that the screen tearing was easier to see.

Here's the log: http://pastebin.com/a1hKe8Cq

The recording that video was done with is the last one at the bottom of the log.

I hope this helps, let me know if you need any further information. Thanks!
