So this is not isolated to OBS but for xsplit as well, but with Xsplit I'm able to configure the sound input from My capture card by right clicking and going into the configure screen and altering the sound input, because for some reason or the other if I just open OBS (or Xsplit) without opening the aver media program I get no sound from the capture card, but as long as I open my aver media program first and check the source the sound will always work until I restart the computer. I don't know if this is a general capture card bug or what but if OBS had the option to change my capture card sound input settings I wouldn't have to open the aver media program first. If anyone knows of a way to fix this I'm all ears!

the avermedia card has multiple inputs and uses a crossbar to configure them...i don't think OBS supports that yet.

That's correct, without opening the avermedia program it defaults to the sd input but if you open the avermedia program and view your hdmi input they its set for the current session (until the computer reboots) kinda strange

the avermedia app is configuring the crossbar you can do the same thing with virtualdub. just need to wait for jim to implement that functionality.
