When i click on the Avermedia in OBS to get to the settings of the card, there is a box thats states, "Custom Resolution" If i check that box, i can enter a resolution and FPS for the avermedia. Now, how does this setting differ from the OBS video setting where i can enter resolution for streaming and down scaling options? Should i even check that box in the Avermedia settings? Thanks

It allows you to control the resolution that your AVerMedia capture card outputs to OBS, which in some cases isn't the same as the base or downscale resolution you want to use for your stream. You should enable it if you want to specify a specific output resolution/frame rate/color mode.

Thank you!! So to verify, I set my monitor ratio to 1920x1080p and downscale to 720p. So, the Avermedia should also be set to my downscale ratio of 720p?

Also, one other question...while streaming, is it ok to also view my stream on my second monitor on twitch? or does it take up bandwidth? And lastly, i have both PC's hooked up separately to my router? is this optimum?
