Hi I recently got a new gaming laptop
i7 6700hq
8gb ram
NVidia 960m 4gb gddr5

I have been trying to livestream some black ops 3 with my live gamer portable but even on low settings my fps lags and I get a ton of dropped frames. this is sample footage taken from an old account I've been using to test out different stream settings

at this time I was using x264, 720p downscale, 2500 kbps with cbr enabled and cbr padding disabled, 30 fps bilinear, veryfast cpu preset

I cant think of any reasons why I wouldn't be able to stream 720p 30 fps smoothly considering the specs........ and if you're wondering about the lgp stream engine settings it was set to 720p 10 mbps.

my internet speeds are 26 dl / 6.3 mbps upload

Are you playing on your laptop or console ? If you play ob your laptop dont use your capturecard to capture your game. That cost a lot more cpu usage than normal obs game capture.
Probably send a obs logfile from your last settings
