AV1 pause function not working

I don't know if it is an inherent limitation with this OBS or the encoder, but when choosing SVT-AV1, after pausing, unpausing results in an error.
AOM AV1 also doesn't work reliably for pausing. The error is "An encoder error occurred while recording: Encoder SVT-AV1 is taking too long to encode (timeout: 5 seconds)"
I have tested this with more than one computer. Should this just be put in as a bug report?

I haven't tried AV1 with OBS yet but I have with Vegas/Voukodor, getting right around 60 fps @ 1080p with a 12900k.

Intel 12900k Stock but Benchmarks 10 - 15% Over Passmark Rating
[10:50:12] Exported 3600 frames in 46 seconds. (avg. 77 fps)
