Question / Help Autosave video every x minutes/MB

I was wondering is there an ability to autosave video that is currently being recorded every xxx minutes or xxx MB? Rather than capture the file in one large chunk, can it save it with timestamps once a certain size is reached?

I don't want to stop recording. I want to save the chunks into manageable sizes. Also, in case the video player crashes, you have some video record already saved.

If you don't save to mp4, you don't have the problem that your idea would work around.

You're looking for a maximum file size or duration, beyond which OBS closes the file and creates a new one?

There is no such feature in OBS Classic.
