In the future, will there be an option for OBS to automatically adjust mic volume?

For example, sometimes I will talk louder than normal if I just got a good kill, or am excited over something. This will cause my mic to make a high pitch sound that is annoying.

That is what you use a compressor for. OBS may at some point have the capability to use VST plugins that can do that, but I'm not sure how high of a priority that is.
