Automate filter controls?

Worth asking, although I suspect I know the answer already...
Is there any way to automate the controls of a filter to either hotkeys or some other form of incoming data such as hardware controller/MIDI/OSC ?
I see that it's possible to assign a hotkey to turn a filter on or off, but can't seem to find any way to assign a hotkey or any other input to the actual filter controls.

You can name the macros and the hotkeys anything you want.

The "only on change" checkbox makes it run once when the condition becomes true, instead of continuously while the condition remains true.
