Question / Help Ausdom 1080p Webcam Not Displaying in OBS 20.0.1

I just hooked up a new webcam to my computer. It is an Ausdom brand 1080p webcam. It works fine in every other program, including Xsplit but OBS cannot seem to capture the output, just shows as a gray screen in the Video Capture Dialog and blank in the stream preview. I've tried with and without the driver being installed and of course I've rebooted and reseated the USB cable.

If someone could please figure this out I'd really appreciate it.

If your webcam is not displaying video in OBS, try setting the resolution and FPS to something known that the camera supports. Go to the Video Capture Device properties, change Resolution/FPS Type from Device Default to Custom, and then set the options accordingly.

Also it looks like you added the webcam twice. Remove the 2nd instance and re-add it using the "Add Existing" option.

I have altered the settings in every possible regard, doesn't show.

It was a codec issue. Installed a codec pack and rebooted and everything it working. Thanks guys.
