audio with dual pc setup with extended display (not duplicate)

I do not use duplicate b/c of the screen tearing so that's why the display is on extend. I am trying to make changes to my audio. i have my audio going into banana voicemeeter, to my capture card, and gets transferred to my streaming pc. am i doing my changes to the audio in obs on my gaming pc? i've seen utubes about people making changes to obs but they never say if it's on the streaming or gaming pc. and also i get a audio/webcam out of sync problem as well. am i making the offset changest in advanced audio on the gaming or streaming pc?

there is no right or wrong that you can do as you like I just take an OBS instance on my gaming computer without preview and move the picture complete with audio to the streaming computer so I save a little power and everything runs smoothly and I can Record games without a capture card!

i stream though not record. so i need preview. and i was just wondering if i make these changes to my streaming pc or my gaming pc. i'll try my gaming pc next. just thought someone would be out here in the forums with the same setup who has some insight.
