Hey guys,
I probably have a slightly more complicated setup than the average post here, so I'm hoping someone can provide some insight into why I might be having these issues.
Currently running OBS Studio on OSX Yosemite - Mac Pro with an Xeon and 20GB of memory with a dedicated SSD for recording. My capture device is a Blackmagic DeckLink 4K. I'm coming into it with HD-SDI carrying 720P @ 59.94fps from a ForA HVS switcher. Audio is coming into the DeckLink via XLR from a broadcast mixer.
It doesn't matter if I'm recording, streaming, or simply have the program sitting idle. After a few minutes, video becomes out of sync with audio and gets worse after time. I have a feeling this is a drop frame issue, but I'm not blaming my capture rig as I regularly use the same setup to capture with Premiere CC or Blackmagic ME without issue.
I have all of the settings I can see set to match my input signal and I've turned down the settings quite a bit in order to attempt to get better results, but without luck. CPU usage during streaming and recording is less than 50%, and I don't have any other applications running in the background which would cause the drop frames.
I've attached a log file where I was having sync issues. I was not streaming though I was recording.
I'd appreciate any help/ advice!
Thanks!
