Hello, new to the forum.
I am having a drifting issue when using OBS to output video using Virtual Camera and Blackhole to get the audio from OBS.
I use OBS for my Zoom, Streamyard, Teams, Re-Stream sessions when doing private training videos, as well as when I am a guest speaker for a Twitch streamer.
Running my audio interface direct to the platform doesn't give me any syncing problems with the OBS Virtual Camera source. I wanted to also capture the audio processed from OBS so I can use the addition of the compressor and limiter audio filters in OBS to enhance my audio.
I use Black Hole to route the monitoring. Ever since I started using Black Hole, I get a syncing issue where audio and video would drift apart the longer the session goes. It doesn't start off out of sync, but it slowly drifts over time. Black Hole and Virtual Camera just don't seem to stay locked together.
If I want to continue using the audio processing from OBS, is there a solution for this issue? Would using something else aside from Black Hole to do the rerouting fix the problem? Am I missing a setting to keep the audio and video locked?
Thanks for the help!
