Question / Help Audio to Facebook Live repeats

I am new to OBS and Facebook Live. I am one of a million people desperately trying to figure out our new reality.
I bought OBS after reading the reviews. So using the full program. Studio 25.0.4
I use windows 10 with a 70mps cable internet connection. I used a camera to record a video, used WinMovieMaker to edit the video and convert it to MP4
Watching the video on my computer, everything was crystal clear.
But attempting to "broadcast live" from OBS to FB Live the sound began echoing. Music lasted for several minutes after the musicians finished. Words echoed.
The video was great, but the sound made everything unintelligible.
Any help, guidance or insight would be greatly appreciated

OBS is free. Where did you buy it from?
You are right. I'm sorry. I didn't buy it. It was WinMovieMaker that I bought, as well as another editor/video converter.
My apologies for the confusion. This has been an insane few days for me trying to get multiple videos posted, and then the audio side being such a mess.

Hopefully a silly question, but you didn't have Facebook open watching the stream on the same PC you were broadcasting from? By default OBS will broadcast your desktop audio, so any sound you hear will also go out to the stream.

If it's not as simple as watching the stream and having that audio get put into the stream, look at this list of potential causes for echo:

Hey Rich. Yes, I was watching the stream from Facebook. In order to live stream to FB live, it has to be open. But I do not have a microphone on this PC, and I was using ear buds to listen to the broadcast to make sure it was running ok.
Are you saying I should not open the audio channel to listen to the broadcast? If so, it was not a silly question at all.

If you listen to the broadcast on the same system you're broadcasting from, and the default system audio device is the one you are using as a source, then doing this will cause echo.

OK. So the only way to ensure everything is running well is to use a different computer.
Thank you. I had no clue. I thought I had to turn on the audio to make it available to the viewer. I was actually sabotaging the sound.
I appreciate the information and quick response.
Thanks again.

Yes, anything you want to use as a confidence monitor has to be totally separate-- otherwise you'll either be causing a problem in the stream, or possibly hearing audio from your production pipeline rather than the actual output. So you can either make a problem exist where there wasn't one, or hear a problem that doesn't actually exist, or fail to hear a problem you do have. The best confidence monitor comes as close to mimicing your audience's experience as possible, and that means a separate device whenever possible.

With headphones.

Got it. I posted the old video (the one I had problems with) to a dummy group page on Facebook. Everything worked as it should. I thank you very much for the assistance.
I see Facebook now has a "Premiere" setting for videos, that allow you to post them to their site and have them play "live" at a time you set. So now I have two options.
I greatly appreciate all the wisdom and guidance.

Hello friends, so if I am going live from fb page using OBS then the live page needs to stay open until I am ready to end the live session. This is what I did last night and heard audio repeating in the stream. This just started, never had this issues with this approach before.
1) Open fb page from where I can go live
2) Setup OBS Stream with key from fb and link / start stream...

This is the basic setup I always use but the problem started recently.

Oops I posted in Windows. I am using Mac.
